Singapore: OMD Singapore today announced that it has secured the account handling all media duties for Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), Singapore’s largest integrated resort, and family destination that will be opening its doors to the world come early 2010. In addition to Singapore, the account portfolio will
also include regional media placements.

Angela Lam, Director of Resort Marketing at RWS said, “OMD as a media agency has both a global reach and strong local presence. It has also demonstrated both strategic and creative thinking capabilities. We are confident that OMD will be able to work hand-in-hand with Resorts World Sentosa to communicate our offerings and messages to all our partners and consumers.”

Torie Henderson, CEO of Omnicom Media Group Singapore said: “It is an honour for OMD to have landed this prestigious account. Our team is delighted about this great piece of news and we are looking forward to demonstrate how we can work with this very dynamic organization through strategic media planning and communications.”

When complete, the Integrated Resort on Sentosa island will house Southeast Asia’s only Universal Studios theme park, the world’s largest oceanarium, six hotels, a luxury spa and a casino - among an array of entertainment, dining and shopping offerings.
