To much Waiting at The Casino at Resort World Sentosa
From the Den of Bigbearsg
What a week at Sentosa and Resorts World Sentosa. With over 125,000 people visiting the new casino and preview of Universal Studios Singapore this week Sentosa Business showed a 25% increase in business over last year. The new casino has taken in more the 40 million dollar in it first three day.
People were waiting any where from 2 to 3 hour to enter the casino on the first two day. I went to the casino on Sunday night, the que was only about 10 min to wait. I found that all the slot were being used and no where to sit at any of the gaming table. I went again on Wednesday night and there was no waiting in line. But still all the tables and slots were full. I did find a slot to play after waiting about 10 minutes for one to open up. The biggest problem is that only about 1/2 the casino is being used. A lot of the casino area was roped off.
I put S$50.00 into a slot and play for about 1/2 hour winning S$300.00. I cashed out the slot, then walked over to the Cashier to cash in my ticket. I had to wait about 20 minutes to get to the cashier. So to me there is to much waiting .
I hope over the next few week, the crowds will thin out and the casino will open to it full capacitive. It's a very beautiful casino it's a must see.
