SINGAPORE: The Singapore Flyer, the world's largest observation wheel, has been closed since 1pm Sunday.
The Singapore Flyer says the ride was shut after a cable dislodged, affecting the air-conditioning system.
It believes the recent thunderstorms and torrential rains may have caused the malfunction.
Restoration works to fix the air-conditioning are in progress, and the Flyer is expected to resume operations on Wednesday, July 21.
Those who have purchased advanced tickets can either get a refund or return on another date.
