TOURING Singapore just got easier, thanks to a new travel pass.
The Go Singapore Pass, launched on Wednesday, makes navigating the tiny island a breeze by combining different attraction entry tickets with the functions of an ez-link card.
Four different passes are available, each offering tickets to different bundles of attractions in Singapore and a $5 stored value that tourists may use to travel on public buses and trains.
It is also the only travel pass in Singapore that offers entry into Universal Studios Singapore in Resorts World Sentosa.
A simple tap of the Go Singapore Pass at the entrance gains one admission into the attraction the pass is valid for. The pass is valid for 24 hours after the first tap.
The Go Singapore Pass is the brainchild of EZ-Link, which handles all ez-link card transactions, and TravelMania, a 'one-stop location for all of a traveler's needs'.
The passes are on sale at Travelmania's Tourist Service Centres located at the Orchard Xchange and Dhoby Xchange. They can also be bought online at www.gosingaporepass.com.sg
Four types of passes are available:
1. The Sentosa Day Pass
2. The Select Pass
3. The Unlimited Day Pass
4. The Sentosa + USS Day Pass
All can be topped up with cash at any TransitLink Ticket Office, SMRT and SBS Transit Passenger Service Counters at selected MRT stations for free or at 7-Eleven Convenience Stores and SingPost branches for a nominal convenience fee.
