From February 1 to February 24, 2013 Hong Kong Disneyland Resort commences our “Golden Chinese New Year Celebration”, a celebration to bring Guests good fortune for the year of the Snake in true whimsical Disney style. Guests can also feel the ‘gold rush’ this year at Grizzly Gulch, our newest addition to the park is an immersive Wild West gold-mining town that lets you experience a golden era of hope and adventure.  In addition, Valentines lovebirds need not feel left out as Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has also tailored special packages designed to bring the sweetest romantic moments to life, giving everyone a chance to make their partner feel like royalty this Valentine’s Day.

During Chinese New Year, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will be sprinkled in gold, so that you can collect lots of luckfor the coming year. With the opening of Grizzly Gulch and Toy Story Land, our two latest attractions, Hong Kong Disneyland will present our Guests with more surprises and magic than ever before with our new offerings that combine the perfect blend of fun and adventure for everyone. About 90% of Guests who visited Grizzly Gulch said they would return to the new attraction and recommend it to their friends, while our Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars has taken the coveted spot as the most popular attraction in Hong Kong Disneyland.

The “Golden Walk of Fortune” begins as soon as our Guests enter Hong Kong Disneyland, where they will find a glittering Mickey Mouse-shaped gold statue at Town Square, representing prosperity and good fortune for the year ahead. Walking along Main Street, U.S.A., Guests can immerse themselves in the spirit of Chinese New Year with an enchanting display of Chinese New Year décor along the street. Don’t forget to take photos to capture the moment and share the luck and special memories with your family and friends. You can also bring home some special Disney fortune with your golden Mickey Lai See[1], available from the first day of the Chinese New Year!
