SINGAPORE : Singapore's Dolphin Lagoon on Sentosa island has been moved from Tanjong Beach to the Underwater World Singapore.
The new facility boasts a state-of-the-art water filtration system that provides a healthy environment for the dolphins.
The official opening on Friday evening was marked by a special performance by the park's star attractions - the pink dolphins.
The audience was also treated to an appearance of two-year-old Speedy, the second pink dolphin born at the Underwater World.
It was the second documented birth of this rare species of dolphin at any marine park in the world, following the world's first documented birth, also at Underwater World Singapore in 2002.
The marine park has welcomed some 30 million visitors since it opened in 1991.
